We hope you have been enjoying the lovely fall we've had on PEI! We've been busy at the Writers' Guild, and we're gearing up for winter: we have so many literary updates for you.
First, we're using a new newsletter system! Welcome to Curated, a fantastic platform that allows you to view ALL of our newsletters and look at archives. The newsletter is one of the many benefits to being a Writers' Guild Member, so only members have access to this great little bundle of information that comes to your inbox once a month!
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be taking place on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:00pm at 250 B Queen Street (the PEERS Alliance office). We hope that you will join us! If you're interested in joining our board or joining one of our committees (ILAs Committee, Wild Threads Committee, Workshop Committee, or DEI Committee), please contact our Executive Director at director@peiwritersguild.com.

Open Mic Night - Nov 23
Our ever popular Open Mic happens every 4th Thursday of the month!
The PEI Writers' Guild and The Gallery Coffee House & Bistro are proud to work together in bringing this platform for writers to the Charlottetown area on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd @ 7pm!
Bring your friends, sign up to perform, read your writing aloud, or listen to other writers perform theirs! Grab a treat, have a drink, but most importantly ENJOY THIS WONDERFUL EVENT!
TO PERFORM: If you'd like to read some of your writing aloud as part of one of our future Open Mics, simply EMAIL us at director@peiwritersguild.com and if there's room on the list we'll get you signed up with further details!
Please note that priority will go to PEI Writers' Guild members.
There is no cost to attend this event. *Donations to the Writers' Guild will be graciously accepted (but not necessary in order to attend the event)—all donations will be used to further programming and services of the PEI Writers' Guild (including offering bursaries to our workshops). You can donate by e-transferring payments@peiwritersguild.com.*

New Website!
We are working on a new website! We will be making a big shift in the coming months to a new, improved PEI Writers' Guild site that will include a membership section for folks to learn more about our new members-only events, and more!
We will be asking folks to migrate their memberships to our new site! Details coming soon.
