The weather is warming up, and the PEI Writers' Guild has lots of summer events on the go! Whether you’re looking to share your work at our Monthly Open Mic or connect with fellow writers at our monthly social, there’s plenty to dig into.

Writers Social: June 14

Our organization and our members believe that one of the best things for a writer is to simply be around other writers. With the help of dedicated volunteers from our membership we’re excited to introduce a new monthly Writers’ Social in Charlottetown on the 2nd Saturday of the month!

Looking to share your writing, connect with other local and likeminded writers, and grow your craft in a supportive environment? This monthly creative writing group is for folks who are looking for a consistent community of writers to share their work and receive constructive feedback on their writing!
This group is feel free to attend, participate, and meet our community. No need to share your work, but if you would like to share work for feedback, please email 3-5 pages (max!) of writing to Jo by the Wednesday before the meeting. Learn more on our website!

Poetry Club: July 5

- Exclusively for PEIWG Members
This club is for folks who LOVE poetry! We meet on the 1st Saturday of every month at 10am at the Voluntary Resource Centre (81 Prince Street, Charlottetown) to discuss poetry that we love.
